Huge Frog! Busy Day!

Today was a busy day. I helped the boys finish their service project this morning. I thought it would only take a couple hours. Boy was I wrong. I spent 6 hours helping pound crosses into the ground and placing flags on them. It was alot of work in the pouring down rain, but it was worth it. The Cemetery looked great when we were done. And the families really appreciated it. I am glad we could help the boys show respect for our fellow Americans who served in the military. They deserve it.

After recovering from the cemetery we went to Bobby Furhimans house. We went to see Mary Ryan, she had a special day. I wanted to show her my support for her.
Her two little boys were playing outside and found this huge frog. They were surprised I wanted to hold it. But how can you pass that up? It was pretty cool. Weird I was the only one who wanted to hold it, besides the kids. I had a fun time . Thanks boys!

Bobby's property is pretty cool. I will have to bring the boys back there when summer comes. It has a huge flower garden and goats!

Flags! Memorial Day Flags!

Memorial Day week end is coming up. Vincents Scout troup was asked to help get the Cemetary ready for Memorial Day. The boys helped put in crosses on graves that request it. They were busy with maps and lists of the Cemetary. They have been working on it for two evenings. Not quite done yet. They will be getting up early to finish the project.
I love all the flags that the Cemetary puts up on National holidays. They even have a short program for honoring the military.
The wind was blowing and it was a stormy sky. They got lucky it did not rain. But it made for cool photos.

Vincent giving me the evil eye. He should know that will not slow me down from taking photos.

Wedding Anniversary- 22 Years!

Can't believe that we were married 22 years ago! It has gone really fast. I guess that is a good sign. I am so lucky that I found Gary. I knew he was the one pretty quickly. He has been so great to me and my family.
I love you Gary!

Gary and I worked most of the day. Then I got off and met him down town. We had an early dinner and did a little shopping. It just happened to be the Nordstrom half yearly sale. Gary bought me two new purses that were on sale! Wow- hard to believe I had no nice purses a month ago. Now I have 3.
To top it off we went to a Sounders soccer game against Boca Juniors from Argentina. We won 3-0. The game was really fun. The rain even stopped for most of the game. The boys were suppose to come with us. But it had been raining all day and they were not up for it. Too bad, we had a good time.

Friends for Life!

How lucky am I to have such great friends. I don't think too many people are as lucky as I am in the friend category. I have quite a few friends that I have known for all my life. It helps that I have lived in the same place the whole time. These two ladies have been there from the beginning. We had a great child hood together and so many memories. Thank you girls!
Life got really busy for a while and some how I forgot to keep in touch with my childhood friends. That was really sad. We kept seeing each other at either wedding for funerals. At the last funeral we decided we needed to keep in touch. So we have been trying to get together once a month if we can.
Krisse and Jan took me out for my birthday! It was so nice. Lots of good food.
It was also prom night for the local High Schools.
Krisse's Son Scotty came to the restaurant so we could see how cute they looked and take photos of him and his date.

Hi Cute Ellie!

Jan got a new car! A Malibu is all I can tell you. It is very cute and I like the color, also very comfortable and has a nice interior. Good job Jan!

Thanks for a fun night!

David and Rebekah Photos

I got to take photos of David and Rebekah Monday. It was so fun. They are such the cute couple. David is one of my little brothers and is getting married this June. Rebekah is going to be a great addition to our family. And she is moving here very soon! We are planning a road trip to Utah for their wedding. It will be along drive, but worth it. I took over 200 hundred photos of them. Digital is so easy to go overboard with. But I love it.

Happy Birthday Julie!

I had a very nice Birthday. Hard to believe I am 44 years old! Man I am old!
The kids let me sleep in then sent me on a scavenger hunt for my birthday present. Vincent and Andrew made up the whole hunt all by them selves. They had me going all over the house. I found my present in the wash machine downstairs. I got a new Sounders Jersey. It is really bright yellow! I love it. I saw them when we were at the last soccer game.

Then that evening the boys took me out to a movie and dinner. Of course I had to wear my new shirt! We went and saw Iron Man 2. It was fun and lots of things blew up. I really enjoyed spending time with my boys. They are so good to me.

Thank you for a great Birthday!
I also had tons a well wishes on Facebook. I love that!

Great Week to be a Mom!

I had a great Mothers Day today. I am so lucky to be a Mother! I love it! My boys are the best!
I woke with breakfast being brought to me in bed! They know I have watching what I eat so that I can lose some more weight. I have lost 15 pounds so far! Don't want to go backwards! Then the boys were ready for church on time! They both looked very handsome. Vincent had his suit on today. He looks so grown up. I should have taken a photo. What is wrong with me. Had a great day at church- I helped out in primary. They dressed up some Moms in bathrobes with paper bags on our heads. Then the kids asked us questions and tried to figure out who we were. Andrew guessed me pretty quick. I tied to disguise my voice but did not work. When we got home Gary had lunch ready for us. Nice and healthy. Thank you Hunny! But for dinner....I was really wanting some Waffles with Icec ream on it! He gave in and let me have it! It was so yummy! The boys loved it also.
Yummy healthy dinner...whoops!

For work I went on a boat cruise on Puget Sound with about 100 Realtors. I had a table for Wells Fargo and worked with some girls educating Realtors on our products. It was hard work! The view was awesome!

Vincent had his last game for Sammamish for the season this week. He had a great season with this team. The boys were all great. I loved the coach and so did he. There was only two freshman on the Jv team. We felt very good that he made it.

Cub Scout Cake Auction! Once again fundraising time for scouts. I went on line and found these cute cup cakes. I had a disaster last year with my rice crispy cake. This looked fool proof. Yeah it worked. Andrew helped decorate them all and it was really fun. They were a hit and sold for $45.00. That was pretty good for cupcakes! Love it.

All in all I have the best life! I love being a Mother and a Wife. My boys take really good me. It is pretty great to be me!
