Deception Pass Again

Mom and Dad were feeling bad that they missed our last Deception Pass trip. So Dave and I offered to go again. It was that or drive to Mount Rainier and we were not sure it it would be open yet with all the snow. I was happy to go again, it is one of my favorite places. And the sun was out, so why not!
Gary was not feeling good all weekend. But he rallied on the last day and came with us! Yeah! I was very glad to have him with us. It is not the same when we are all not together. He was in pain most of the time, but was a trooper.

Andrew and Tiffany and Vincent and David helped make a fort for the kids to play in. It turned out great and they played in it for a long time.

David and Vincent played baseball with sticks and rocks. They hit alot of home runs into the Sound!

Vincent King of the rock!
Andrew and Tiffany played together so well. It is great to see cousins have fun and enjoy each other!

Time to pack up! It was hard to say good bye to the beach. Well for most of us it was hard. Mom was very sad to say good bye to Rosario Beach.

Andrew and I came home and took a nice long Hot Tub! And we tried out my camera under water features. It worked! I was a little nervous to try it out. I did not want to ruin it.

Happy Memorial Day!

Gary and Julie at the Sunset Cemetary by our house. I love when they display all the flags!

Too bad all the shadows got in the way!

Coming home from Bremerton. I will have to post photos of that later. It was a fun shinny day. We had fun with family

Todd came in town to hang with David and to have a High School Uno game with his friends. We played hooky on Sunday and headed to a favorite family destination. Deception Pass. It is North about 2 hours away. Just past LaConner. I was hoping that the Tulips would still be out. But no I missed them again!

I love how green the water is. This is a view from the top of the bridge.

Cute cousins had a great time playing together. Tiffany was excited to see this plaque as she is learning about the Puget Sound.

Todd is trying to remember why he lives in Utah. :-)

Andrew and Mom. Vincent was busy trying out for some soccer teams. We missed not having Gary and Vincent there. I will drag them here next time. How could you not love this place.

Deception Pass Bridge. Built in 1934. Still looking good!

Andrew chasing some butterflies or moths ?

Love all the tide pools!

Went on a little hike up the hill to get a better view. Tiffany and Andrew were up so fast. Two little mountain goats.

Top of the bluff. What a view. The mountains were out and shinny!

Lots of crabs and sea creatures to discover. So cool.
Thanks Todd and David for the suggestion of heading out! Family is so much fun to be with. I was so proud of Tiffany. She was being so adventurous exploring everything with Andrew. All was great when there was not a dog around. We will work on that. Poor Sandy would love to play with her.

On a sunny day Washington is a great place to live. If only it was sunny more often.

Youth Conferance- Camp Sealth

We had a great time at Youth Conferance. We had sunny weather and great kids all around. I was lucky to be able to go and chaperone. Vincent just turned 14 so he was old enough to go. I even got to see him at his first dance. He got asked to dance at all the slow dances. It was very hard for me not to get the camera out. But I did not want him to hate me forever.

Vincent can row!

Lots of inspirational speakers!

Kids on the Ferry Boat going to Vashon Island! They look so sweet! I know life goes around in circles. What comes around goes around.

Utah and Vegas trip

Meeting Baby Afton was the high light of the trip! She is so cute! We all had fun holding her. Jenn and Scott were so nice to share her with us! What a doll! This is her blessing outfit. Grandma Joy made it for the grand kids. Angela-Ashley-Tiffany-Natalie-Afton have wore it so far. Good job Mom. It is a very fun tradition. Too bad I don't have a little girl!
These photos are not in the right order. But after our rain storm we ended up in St. George Utah in the sun! Needed to stop and get some good food! This made Grandpa happy!
Some one is snatching my food! Who could that be?

Nice to eat outside and get our bones warmed up! Yeah! It is over 340 miles to Vegas from Utah. Long drive.

Cool Canyon that we drove thru. Next time it would be fun to stop and look around.

On our way to Vegas just outside of Lehi we got a flat tire. Good think we had lots of help. But it was raining really hard. The police man showed up just as we were finishing up. Good timing!

Poor Cindy all wet! She is a real woman! Way to get the jack out and fix the tire.

It got alittle bit shredded!

Mom Cindy and Allison and I went to Women's Conference at BYU. It was for two days. We learned all about how to be better Mom, and wives and how to better our selves. Very inspirational. Lots of women all helping each other be better! Very cool. If you can ever go, you should!

The Girls!

Allison - Julie- Cindy - Joy

Eating lunch outside. Good Salads and sunshine!

We met up with Alisa C for a class. It was fun to see her!
We stopped and visited at Todds house the first day. It was fun to see the kids. We got lots of hugs from the girls! Love them! Good job Todd and Sharolyn!

The girls were having a fun time with the cameras! They took lots of photos.

I wrote this very quickly. I need to get back to work!
