Last night my legs were bugging me tons. I have restless leg syndrome, it is a family gift. Lately it has been acting up. I had some old medicine that I was saving just in case I really needed it. So I took it last night. I should have remembered that last time I used it I got sick. I soon remembered and went to sleep tingling. Then at midnight I woke up and felt terrible! I spent the next 3 hours next to the toilet! I thought I was going to die!
Why did I do that to myself! My stomach is still sore... I hate throwing up! I also kept poor Gary up all night.

Rainbows and Soccer!

Sammamish vs Mercer Island. We won 3-1! They beat us last time. The weather could not figure out what it wanted to do. We had rain and sun and wind and dark grey.

Andrew is getting alittle tired of watching soccer games. So he brings his DSI and uses the umbrella to make his own little hangout.

Pioneer Farm

Andrew went on a fun field trip today to a Pioneer Farm in Eatonville. About an hour away from us. The 4th graders got to learn what it was like to live here about 100 years ago. They got to do lots of fun hands on activities. I was so glad it wasn't raining. Lots of mud even on a dry day.

Andrew was able to catch a chicken. He was so proud!

Milking a cow! So Cool!

Back Yard Tulips!

Today was a beautiful sunny day. We planted tulips in the back yard this year and they looked great today. I tried to get my family out to do a photo shoot. They were not into it. But Sandy was up for it. She did not like the flash too much. I don't think the flowers will last too much longer. Especially if it rains soon. I am hoping to get up to the tulip fields this year. If I don't at least we have a little garden here.

Vegas trip- fun for the whole family!

We had a great trip to Vegas last week. The Routson family came and stayed with us at our condo for the week. It was a great time! Here are a few things we did while visiting Vegas.

We made a trip to the old part of Vegas. They have a fun light show outside on a cool ceiling that covers the street. The boys were tired, and the music was loud. But I enjoyed it.

We showed the kids a cool pool at the Golden Nugget. It has a pool with a shark tank in the middle. And then it has a slide that goes thru the tank. Small pool- but cool to look at it. It cost $20 each to swim for the day if not staying at hotel. We almost rented a room for a night so we could take the kids. It would have been cheaper than paying individually to swim. Crazy. We decided to pass on it. :-)

Ok we had a weak moment in our diet. We stopped for a quick frozen custard. Yum Yum!
Todd and Sharolyn came for the weekend and we all got together for a dinner. It was fun to spend the evening together. I miss my family! Some of us are having a contest like the Biggest Loser - so we were trying really hard to watch what we were eating. Not fair with all the chips to eat!

The Boys- Steve was taking the photos.

Our condo pool had a little lazy river pool. Kids loved it! Westra kids came for the day!

A visit to the Hoover Dam! They just built a new parking garage and observation tour area. I liked this new statue of a worker on the Dam.

They are building a new bridge next to the dam. It will be a faster way to get to Arizona from Vegas. It is a really cool looking bridge! One more section left to go!

The kids liked the Movie "The Transformers" I found a real one at the damm. It must be an original transformer!

We took a tour way down in the dam. Pretty cool!
Easter at the Barnes House! We had a little hunt in the back yard. Afton's first hunt!

Brothers!

We also attended a very quick egg hunt at the condo pool. Tons of kids and a little candy. Andrew did ok. But Spencer and Vincent too slow to get any. :-(
