Catch-up Day!

This last week Cindy and Steve and Spencer R came up to visit from Utah! The weather was great, so we had to take advantage of it. Even when Andrew was sick I snuck him off to the beach. I love it when family visits! I get to go and play alittle more than usual. I still had to work . It was tricky to get work done early so I could play. Good thing my work phone forwards to my Cell phone.
This is Enati Beach that is under the I90 bridge to Mercer Island. It is really close and has a good swimming area. Also you can rent canoes.
Andrew found a big piece of wood in the water. Funny what things can entertain kids. He had fun pushing it around and trying to stand on it.

Vincent is very addicted to his cell phone. He got a model that is water proof. I put it on a cord so that he would not drop it in the water and it get lost on the bottom of the lake. Silly boy. He has a friend CC that is constantly texting with him.

Vincent is very proud of this pose. He thinks he look pretty buff. Crazy how he has grown up. I try to teach him to be humble. Hard task.

Go Spencer. The life guards are not duty yet. So the kids had fun sitting in the chair and jumping off it. The did some pretty cool flips off it.

The boys had fun on a kayak. They were on a hunt to find some Turtles. They found a bunch they tell me. I guess they get pretty big. There was also a bald eagle fishing in the area. The boys also said they saw some pretty big fish by the Lilly pads.

Meydenbauer Beach in Bellevue. We were heading home from doing some errands and getting lunch. I was showing them how Bellevue has changed and grown. We decided to stop by one of our favorite spots. This beach is so pretty and is right in the middle of some very beautiful houses. It was very peaceful and almost empty.
A family of ducks came by and Spencer started to feel them "Smartie" candies. They loved it. They were eating right out of their hands. It was amazing that they all stayed so close to the kids for so long. Some of the ducks were pecking at the kids feet. The Mommy duck just watched from close by.

Hot Tub Time! David brought the girls over for dinner and fun. We ate steak and made smores on the fire. Then the Hot Tub! I brought my water proof camera in to try and get some fun photos.
Love Tiffany's Toes!

Natalies Toes are cute also! She did not want to get out of the Hot Tub.

Tiff and Julie (Favorite Aunt)

Aunt Cindy having fun with Natalie!

Cassandra 8th Grade Graduation! These two have been friends for a very long time. They played together everyday when they were about 6. The two of them lived only two houses away from each other.
Cassandra has always been tall. But she really shot up early. Finally Vincent is starting to catch up. Still a ways to go.
Pretty Cassandra with proud Daddy!

Here is Cassandras support system. She has alot people who love her!
Our Families try and stay close. It is hard because they moved out of our neighborhood.

4 years ago we had new windows installed. They installed them wrong! They did not cut out any of the window sills so the windows would fit inside the window frame. They had them sitting halfway out. They were starting to warp and they were not shutting well.
We have been complaining the company to fix them for years. Finally we threatened to sue so they then quickly came out and fixed them. It took two days. But i am happy. They finally shut and no air flows thru the cracks.

"It's Time" this is what Vincent came and announced to us. We said time for what? Time to shave! He has been talking about it for a while. So Gary showed Vincent how to shave. Hard to believe our baby is growing up so fast. He did not really have much to shave. But there was some fuzz on the upper lip and some fuzz on the cheeks.

So Great! A real milestone to manhood! I am so glad Gary was able to show him how to do this!

Tools of the trade.

Andrew's 3rd Grade class went on a field trip to Bellevue City Hall. They just built a new building. It is pretty cool. I had not been on a tour yet. They show you lots of fun stuff when you are with the kids.

The kids took a Bus to City Hall. I guess it was a lot cheaper than getting a school bus. It was fun, but it was a hot day. We walked two blocks to the bus. I think it got to about 87 that day. Heat wave for June.

Cool Bronze tree stump colored silver. It represents the balance of nature and progression of the city. ( I think) Something like that. The kids all had fun in the water. It was tempting to get wet when it was so hot outside. We then took all the kids to a Mexican restaurant. They set up special prices for the kids.
Whew! I did this fast so please overlook the bad grammar. Life goes so fast. Love you all!
