Last MLS Regular Season Game

Go Sounders!
Fan Night at Quest Field
Lots of fun booths and free stuff. I thought we had scored, but then we found out where our seat were.

 Cool Andrew!
Even Vincent got his hair spray painted blue and green!

What!  Front Row!  How cool! We traded our tickets for some different disabled seats. We did not realize where they were till we went to sit down!  Score!  Too bad I did not bring my nice camera. Next time!

We will be there for the playoff game on Oct 31st!  Yeah!  Gary being disabled is paying off.  Well some times. :-)

Hair Cut! Yeah!

I did it!
I had my favorite hair dresser Melain cut my hair! She is awesome!
I feel so much lighter!  I wish I had lost some weight also.  Funny how hair cuts don't show up on the scale.
I love how quick I can get ready!
It was a close call for hair color...I almost went dark. But I like to keep my husband happy- so Blondie it is.

Home Made Cookies!

O.K...I know I am suppose to be losing my last 10 pounds. But I really wanted some chocolate chip cookies! My boys love them also. Instead of a triple batch I kept it to a double. Does that count for cutting back?  Oh, they taste so good...I love to freeze a few and then eat them later!
Anyone hungry?

Best Friends!

I love to see my boys have such great friends!
Both Andrew and Vincent have some Awesome friends. I love to have them over to the house and take them to fun events. You know me the more the merrier. I would have loved to have more kids.(Not in Gary's plan :-) So the next best thing is to enjoy my kids friends.
Vincent had soccer practice during this game, so we got to bring one of Andrew's friends Mathias!
We have loved  him ever since Kindergarten! So polite! The boys play soccer together and both love Lego's. I will take him either day.

Hot Pepper Relish!

What do you do with  garden full of Banana Peppers a Hot Jalapenos?

We grew so many peppers we had to get creative with. So Gary looked up some recipes for Hot Pepper Relish.  We got a few more ingredients and off we went. Tomatoes-Carrots-Onions and even a couple of Apples.  Mix them all up and cook them and you get Hot Pepper Relish. I was a little nervous it would not work. It turned out pretty good!

Of course we were not totally prepared. Yes we bought the jars. But how do you get that all to work?  A quick trip to You -Tube and we figured out we were not ready. We needed to give our jars a hot water bath. I went to our neighbors Bobbi's house and she did not have that stuff any longer. Off to Teresa's (next neighbor down) house and sure enough she had a big pot and told me how to do it. Not to hard.

Super hot Jalapenos. Gary learned the hard way that you must handle them with care and wear gloves. The hot oils can stain your hands for days.

Andrew had fun helping. One of his jobs this summer was to water the plants. He had fun watching how big the plants got and how many peppers we grew!

We tried the Relish the next day on our hamburgers and fries. It was very good!  Adds a little kick to the burger! We will try this again next year for sure.

Awesome Vincent!

Soccer in the Rain!

A sure sign of that soccer season is here is the RAIN!  Well at least for us in Washington. I did hear that my sister went to  Football game and did not wear a coat! (In Vegas) How weird it that?!  How nice would that be.

If you look at these photos close you will see that they look grainy. Well that is all the rain!  Looks kind of cool frozen in motion. I am still experimenting with my new camera. Gone are the auto settings...they figure if you buy this camera you know what you are doing.  Yikes!  So I have been reading up and trying setting out. I took over 700 photos at the game. With the fast continues shooting it is easy to rack up the pics. Don't worry i deleted 500 of them. :-)

Vincent had a great game. He made two assists!  Very sweet goals. The game ended up in a tie. Bummers. Vincent is having fun playing with school friends and boys that he grew up with.

Solid Vincent! Just try and move me!
We played at Robinswood that is very close to the house and on Turf. I am so glad. It would have been a mess on grass!

Nice to see Vincent smiling!  He loves soccer. :-)  We love to watch Vincent play!

U.S. Open Cup Champs!!!

Yeah!
We won the U.S. Open Cup Again!
We won last year as a brand new expansion team.  We won again!  So Awesome!

We love our Sounders team!

We had a record amount of people at a US Open cup game 31,311!  We have a great fan base in Seattle. Most teams are very jealous of our crowd!

I love all the great energy from the fans at the game!  We have had a great time attending the games.
We have a few more Sounders games to go to for the season. We are still in another cup tournament.

Congratulations Sounders!

Teenager...does not want to be seen too close to me...ha ha...
Andrew still likes being seen with me! I am living it up while it lasts. :-)
