New Software! Photoshop 7!

Cindy and I got an early Christmas present. Our husbands bought us a the new version of photoshop. We spent a few hours going thru the tutorial and learned a bunch of new stuff on how to use the program. I love it. It is so fun. Cindy also gave me a few lessons on how to do digital scrapbooking. Perfect! This is what I have been looking for. A class in digital scrapbooking.

In our family we send each other two scrapbook pages for Christmas about our families. Presents were getting too hard to do with families growing and being farther away from each other. I love getting new pages from everyone. You get to see how the kids have grown and what everyone has been up to for the year. We each have a book to keep them in and we just add to it every year! So I just finished mine. I did it all digital this year- of course. I will send it to costco and get them printed and then put them in plasitc covers and mail to everyone. It is fun to see how everyones is different. No need to be too fancy if you dont want. You can even go to kinkos and just color copy favorite photos on a page and you are done! We don't care how fancy it is. Just getting it done is the big thing.

I love my family and wish I could be more active in all thier lives. So I will try when I can to make opportunities to see every one as much as I can. Not fair that they all moved away. But I need to get over that and just do what i can. Love you all!

Cindy and Steve left for home. We had alot of snow in the mountains last night and they made it thru the pass just in time. They did close it for a while so they had to wait an hour. But they did close it again after they made it. Good timing for them, I am glad they are safely on thier way home. It was great the Steve brough Cindy along this time. What a guy! Thanks Steve

Movie night

Well I finally talked Gary into going to a movie with me. Steve and Cindy are in town and if you know them they love the movies. So Gary agreed to go and see Australia. I loved it but as you could probably guessed Gary did not. Good thing he had his blackberry with him. The scenery was beautiful and i loved the little boy! Such a great place. One of these days I will get there. Drover was hot! I will defiantly see the movie again!

We had a fun night with Cindy and Steve. On the way we stopped at Burgermaster and had a burger. Gary did not enjoy eating in the car. One of the things that he hates to do. But he was a good sport and put up with it. Javier came with us also. He appreciates a good movie! I hope he had a good time with us. We are not that exciting. We do enjoy having him around.

Christmas Lights!

Its starting to feel like Christmas. It wasn't raining so we took advantage of that and went to the Bellevue Botanical Garden. They put on a great light show. Lots of pretty flowers and cool displays. It was fun to get creative ideas to do with lights if you had time. One day I will take their class and learn how to make all those cool things.

Here are a few photos at the garden.

Thanksgiving Dinner Sucess!

Yesterday we had a great Thanksgiving Dinner. Dave and Julie and the girls came over and we all pigged out! David cooked an awesome Turkey and all the trimmings were great. I think Javier enjoyed having a traditional thanksgiving dinner. I loved seeing the little girls again. They are growing up fast!

Today we went and saw the Macy's parade in downtown Seattle. We had a fun time seeing all the marching bands and floats. It only rained alittle. Gary was nice and dropped us off and picked us up when we were done. I was not looking forward to parking downtown with all the crowds. It made it alot more enjoyable.

We will go again when it is not so crowded and do the carasel ride.

Twilight movie

I went and saw the movie Twilight with friends and i had a great time. What I enjoyed the most was how the girls in the crowd reacted to all the characters. The claps and heavy sighs and outburst all at the same time. I thought they did a good job following the book. They did not seem to stray from the story line which can be hard.

Before the Movie I went to dinner with Krisse and Jan. It is so much fun hanging out with girl friends that you have known from childhood. We seem to pick up right away with a few updates here and there.

Soccer Party for 43!

Ok I just had a party for 18, 13 year old boys and thier families. We had an end of the Soccer season party at our house for 43 people. It was crazy and crowded and I loved every minute. I am not sure why I love to have a full house. I think it reminds me of how I grew up. I just love it! I made a slide show of all the photos fo the kids that I took all season. It was too crazy to take a phots of all the kids.

Vincent had a great season. They did not lose a game all season. Vincent scored 28 points. Sounds like too many to me to be humble. He also won the MVP award from the parents voting and for the kids voting secretley durring the season. I think I will have to deflate his head tomarrow. He seemed to accept it graciously.

Ok I am exhausted. I will post again soon!

Sorry I am so behind!

Ok So how do I catch up?

New Intern staying with us Javier- from Spain. He is really great and fun to have around. The boys like him and he fits in great. I have to say his English is awesome. He even gets american humor.

Halloween was fun but I was in such a rush to get Vincent's make up done. I put a pretend bolt in his forehead with blood coming out. He then went off to meet friends and I did not get a photo taken! Can you belive it! It was my first time not having Vincent with me trick or treating! Javier and Andrew and I did the nieghbor hood then went to Magnolia-Seattle to a friends house. They really go all out in that neighborhood.

Andrew's soccer season is over.....they did not win one game. I don't know what that says about my coaching skills. I must say that I am not going to do it next year. Wow they are a wild group. Most of the kids can not focus for more than 2 minutes. Andrew had a melt down and I had to take a photo!

Vincent has one more game left. They have not lost a game. He has been doing really good this year. I hope he will push himself and really try for going for select next year. I know he like being the star in rec, but not much of a challenge for him.

Work for me has been getting alot busier. I am working alot more from home and enjoy it. I dont miss driving in the traffic everyday. I jusst need to stay focused and not get distracted by laundry.

If you have any tips for how to get the photos where I want them pass it along. Other wise they are not where I placed them.

Miss everyone! Work work and then hurry and get stuff done. A vacation sounds nice. Thanks
