Grease

Tiffany and Natalie were in the play "Grease"!

I had a great time watching them. They were both so cute. Not afraid of the lime light at all. Natalie could not get enough of being in the front of the stage. She kept finding a way to get to be front and center. Right now she is young enough that she gets away with this. Enjoy it while you can Natalie. She really reminds me of some one I know... Ok myself :-) During the play I got in trouble because I tried to video tape the girls. I did capture a little bit. What a bummer they were so strict about it. I was not going to pay $35 for a DVD.

I am so happy that I get to see the girls so much.
I love being an Aunt to them.

Not the best picture, but it's what I got.

Crayon Art

In planning for our Relief Society activity I remembered I wanted to learn how to do this cool craft with Crayons. So I went to You Tube and they had tons of videos on how to do this. Here is what I came up with. I am pretty happy how it turned out. I have it hanging in my front entry.

They have postponed the activity until October. Bummers, but at least I am prepared.

New Roof!

A New Roof!

Well this is not the most exciting thing to spend a lot of money on. Being a responsible adult is not always fun. Of course when they got started they ended up replacing most of the plywood. Ugh...But it turned out great. I love the type of shingles we picked out. Last time we got a new roof it was 20 years ago. We put it on our selves. We even had the Missionaries help us nail in the shingles.
I am glad we had Trevor Bean to help us out with the roof.

So glad we are done. Now we don't have to worry about the roof getting done anymore.

Yeah!

Angry Birds in Seattle!!!

Andrew was so excited yesterday for the new Angry Birds game to be available. Then we learned the Space Needle was involved.

This morning on the news I saw them talk about how they were setting up an Angry Bird off the side of the Space Needle. So Cool!  Our Space Needle is so Famous! Seattle is really the place that everyone wants to be involved with. It seems to pop up everywhere.

Can you say Field Trip?

I picked up Andrew from school and then we zoomed over to Seattle to see it for our selves!  We had to buy the T-shirt also. :-)

We had a great time. When we were in the gift shop we heard tourist saying "What is Angry Birds?". Then the sales people had to tell them about it. Where have they been?  Under a rock?  Duh?
