Sandy in a Box

Sandy got stuck in a box a couple of months ago. It was pretty funny. She likes to go into Andrew's room and get into the tissue's that he keeps by his bed. Well it back fired this time. We heard this noise during dinner, like a box being thrown around. It was weird. Then we saw her coming down the hallway with a box on her head.

Great time to video for sure. Don't worry No One was hurt during this filming. We were scarred a little bit if you know Sandy. She can turn on you pretty quick. :-)  Enjoy!

Shopping for a Mattress

Getting a new mattress is hard work!

Gary and I have been looking around for a long time for a new mattress. But spending that kind of money is pretty hard for Gary. (I seem to be fine with it :-)

We made at least 5 trips to Macy's to try them all out. We were really tied between two brands. Gary spent hours in research on line. In the end price got us. We went with the cheaper of the two. But Cheap is not the right word to use for sure.

Delivery day was delayed a couple of weeks because of snow. But it finally came!  It looked great!  But when I tried it out.....hard as a rock! I tried walking on it and jumping on it. We gave it a week and Ugh....no such luck. It never really softened that much. We should have gone with our first instinct.

I arranged to have it returned and upgraded to our new Tempurpedic!   It could not arrive fast enough for us. So happy when I saw the Red Truck return to take us out of our suffering!

We are very happy to have our new mattress all installed and it is Awesome! I recommend it to anyone who really wants to sleep all night in comfort!  I just love it. Yeah!  I don't have any more back aches!

The Egg Experiment

Andrew has been reading a book all about things a boy should know growing up. He has really been enjoying it. It seems that we are not teaching him everything. Darn...how did I know that was going to happen. Good thing he is reading the book.

He learned that you could get an egg sucked into a glass bottle. I seem to remember this, but I am not a boy so I did not pass it on to him. Well here is how the experiment went. I think it was a success. :-)

Tiff and Nat were here for the event also. Not that they need to learn this, as they are girls.

Pandora Surprise!

Gary likes to think he is not Romantic, but I know he is.
(Shhhh...don't tell him I know...)

He just does not like it when he is told to be Romantic. To rock the system he took me shopping the day before Valentines Day for a gift. That way it is not a some one else telling him what to do. I do love him so. :-)

When at the Mall we saw some cool Pandora bracelets, so we went to our favorite Jeweler  at "Dacels" and did a little shopping. I love my new bracelet!  It will be fun to add charms over time.

The next day Gary took the boys shopping and they picked out some new charms for me with their birthstones. I love them!  But no photo of them yet.
Thank you Gary and boys!  I love you guys!

New Toy for Soccer

Gary went to a Soccer event in Kansas (NSCAA National Soccer Coaches of America). He had a great time and learned a lot. It was good for him to get away and have some Gary time. Soccer is one of his favorite things and he loved learning more about it. He will have no excuses to helping out with the boys teams this year. With all his new knowledge he will be great with the kids. Plus they love him helping out. Seriously they do. The kids really respond to him and he always has fun new things for the boys to work on. He also gets out and gets into the action with them.

Gary came home with some new toys to help out the boys.
I think it is pretty cool also.

We are lucky to have a soccer field so close to our house. Every once in a while we sneak up to Bellevue College's field. The grass is bumpy, but often not used.

Cutest Shoes Ever!

I had to get these little boots when I saw them!
I was going to a baby shower for a little boy. How cute are they!

I am so glad they have cute stuff for boys now. Love it!
